Good service centre

Hello my fellow BMWfanatics, i own a 2003 E46 and its due for a inspection 2 service(112000km's on clock). The car is well out of plan and Ive been servicing my car at Forsdicks Tygervalley, Durbanville all tis time. I just called there costing department and they charging me R4k for a service 2 inspection. Do u guys knw of any other good service centre that wont cost me a kidney that I go to in the Cape Town area.

Plus I have a severe allergy to that Tygervalley branch! Would not take my lawnmower to them!

DIY is most cost effective and pretty easy! Otherwise try SMG Canal Walk! :thumbs:

I've had good results at Mech Five. No idea what an Insp. 2 would cost though. I battled with pinging since buying my car and no one could sort it out. Then Mech 5 got it right - was a faulty wiring harness to one of the CO2 sensors

get a Haynes manual for your model. www.autobooks.co.za

got detailed stuff in there. should cost you under R2000 for spares from BMW and Midas. and ofcos a once-off cost for tools and other consumables.

i would suggest getting your fuel filter changed at a place like hi-q or noise boys and likes.

its easy to depressurise the fuel supply but working under the car is not so great if you dont have a lift :thumbdo:
