My e39 is gone. Tis a sad time indeed.

Gave her a wash before the new owner collected her yesterday.

Well, she is going to be in good hands I am sure, and she will now be able to retired.

New owner bought the car to use only on Sundays to church and back.

Make me proud you beauty.

Dearly departed

We are gathered here today to mourn the passing-on of one very fine BMW E39 540i. Some of us may not have known this legend well, or even at all. But those who did will surely tell you that this flagship of E39s was not only a performer on the road, but a beaut to be looked at as a fine example of how an E39, or any BMW, should be looked after, respected, and treated.

Let us hope that the new home of this beloved BMW... Shall serve it well. That it will be looked after even better than any other car on this planet has ever been. Loved by its new owner. Driven with passion. Cared for with undying respect and compassion. Treated only with Meguiars...

Let us never forget the real home of this E39. This classic example of the greatest fiver ever designed. Here... BMWFanatics.

We bid you farewell and hope that by some miracle you may return one day and grace us with your presence once more. Until then...

Happy Retirement

Jandre bud, I know this was not a easy sale for you, besides getting the M5. I believe after all her hard work, she deserves to now take a little time out and become a sunday cruiser.

sad to see this one gone, was hoping it would stay with you untill my came in,but sadly it didnt happen:cry:

hopefully the new owner treats her well:thumbs:

now for the ///m5:joy:

Jandre - I, and I'm sure most of us on the forum, feel for you right now, it's very very hard letting something so special go, even when you are getting something "better" soon as a replacement. No one other than a true fanatic understands the sense of loss, or the betrayal that you feel for letting here go and live with someone else who might not treat her as well.

It takes a little and the replacement starts the process again - all the best old friend.
