So I decided to take Burgy up on his Special offer (see here: Project Shift Software Special ).
Car is booked for this Saturday. Can't wait to feel the difference :joy:
Will keep you guys posted on the experience
UPDATE:
So I went to Project Shift today and got my software done by Burgy. Overall experience was excellent - Burgy took me through the entire process, downloaded the software, sent it off and got the custom file loaded on my car. Had some delay in getting the file, but otherwise it was great dealing and chatting to him.
Here's a pic of Burgy hard at work with his sidekick, who was definitely on top of things ...
As for the results, let's just say that I can definitely feel the difference. At around 2000RPM, there is a noticeable increase in torque. Burgy did inform me that it will take a little while to adapt, so I should expect a bit more in the coming days. Anyway, with todays cold weather and crowded highways, I drove straight home a happy chappie ... Will be exploring the car potential in the coming days, but overall, the upgrade was worth it.
As for the dyno, will plan something for one of the coming weekends to help put some exact numbers on the gains.
A big thanks to Burgy for the excellent service. Would definitely recommend him. :ty:
