Genuine Barn Find

So......I've been looking for a 635csi for a LONG time. Finally found one and bought it today.It's an 81 with a genuine Schnitzer conversion, original rims,interior with Recaro seats, black leather, 131500km's on the clock,one owner, full books. Been stashed in a back yard in a garage for about 5 years. Finally the realisation of one MOERSE dream!
I bought it today,and I am completely ecstatic! Pics below!

I am way beyond chuffed about this,I can't tell you guys how I feel like a kid before Christmas. Checked the oil,clean as a whistle,it'll need to be drained of all fluids,but that motor looks strong. It has already started,briefly (not with me around) to make sure the engine hadn't seized,and it's still starting,which is EXCELLENT news!

I have to take the chance though to say an unbelievable thanks to 635_wes,he has been amazing me in helping me find the right car,with brilliant advice and guidance,without him,I would've made some huge mistakes and probably have bought an absolute lemon. Wes, you are a star mate,thanks thanks thanks thanks thanks thanks :ty:

The car is actually stunning underneath,I asked them not to clean it or anything,I wanted to see it like it was. It does need some TLC,but I am prepared to build this car up to what it was. I actually bought it from the first owner,via the salesman who SOLD the car ORIGINALLY brand new to the owner in 1981 from Club Motors in Randburg.
I will relay the story about this car as soon as I can get the time to write an essay!:roflol:
