I Bought My Dream Car

Congratulations my bru šŸ¤™ Enjoy her in good health

Sage advice here! I never paid the ā€œIndian male under 25ā€ tax because of advanced driving courses and an insurer that factored that into their model šŸ‘šŸ½

Don’t fall into the trap of turning your TC off on normal roads… minor changes in conditions or surface can send you into the bush. As good as it is it also won’t save you from total stupidity even if it is on.

Also somewhat on this note always have proper tyres. They don’t have to be the most expensive but don’t fit rubbish. Generally if someone is chiming in with a low effort comment like ā€œI’ve never had a problem with <insert dogshit here> on <insert totally different car and use case> ignore it. You will spot these types of things in almost all discussions or posts when researching things. That will probably be the most useful advice: sort though advice carefully because in 2024 apparently you can’t call people out on these views anymore šŸ˜‚
+1 regarding the quality tyres on a car like yours, could save your life even

Congrats man! Enjoy her.

Next step, get an M (and preferably an RS) before 30 and you can be as cool as Nabil šŸ”„šŸ”„
Sadly bud, the RS3 has left the garage after 6 years 😭.

I’m down to the M for now. Didn’t really make sense to have both. So it was time to let it go, I enjoyed it for 6 years and 45000km. I won’t be buying a replacement anytime soon as I’m looking at moving to Cape Town or back to Durban before I sign my life away forever to my soon to be vrou next year. So I needed to free up some funds for potentially a new place.

Congratulations bud!! Fantastic car and a wonderful achievement at the age of 25.

We got a 435i GC for the S/O last year and she's loving it. Bit heavy on fuel, but she's mostly in town.

I plan on doing DP and MHD to see if it makes any difference to the fuel consumption - let's not be oblivious to the obvious benefits to these mods as well.... Not that she will even notice.

My suggestions on maintenance:
*charge pipes
*valve cover gasket
*control arms
*walnut blasting
*gearbox oil

N55 - very reliable engine with no major faults. F - Series chassis very well designed and safe.

Once again, congrats
