Frustrating E46 oil leak

Good day
I have an oil leak on my e46 318i. I can't seem to find it. The oil collects behind the oil filter housing. I have changed the housing gasket and the oil pressure sensor. The oil collects while and after I have driven. No visible leaks after the car is shut off. Please help. This leak is frustrating.

When replacing the oil filter housing gasket did you replace the 2 o-ring seals, they course frustrating oil leaks.

You might want to check the vanos oil line as well. They are prone to leaks as well

Sounds strange. Have you replaced the valve cover gasket yet?
