If the E9x M3 is too common on the roads, what about the C63 AMG Coupe? I'm a BMW//Audi fan but as of late this is the only Merc, that turns my head. I do feel however they copied alot from the E92 with this, its like they took the proportions, profile and silhouette of the E92 and applied their Merc design language to the E92 shape rendered, the cars look very alike.......see below.

It is a stunning looking beast...........

Lol I know but you have some time to save up before it gets released , realistically I think it would be available in SA at the end Of 2014 and that's still being optimistic

Would prob look at it when it is a bit older

M3 e92 if u looking used. Probably the best bmw I have ever owned (all rounder), pity it's not turbo'd, but, the whole package is enough to convince you.

If I sold one car and bought another, I would want a pretty decent step up.

I don't know how old your current 135 is, but let's say selling that you get R400k?

Buying the 1M cost around R700k?
You pay R300k for a little extra power and torque, and then the M "feel" of the car. I don't think it's worth it.

M3? That V8 probably makes it a completely different car, and can be had for much cheaper. That might be a good idea, although it will be slower than a chipped 135.

A45 AMG / RS3 will probably be significantly different, but not necessarily more fun. You will have to test drive to be sure, and then decide if the premium is worth it.

Supercharged C63 AMG or M3. Now that sounds like heaps of fun, but will be expensive.

Or, buy a second car? You can then go for a secondhand Porche as a weekend car. If I had an extra garage, this would be my choice.

Or just wait for the M4 or M2. Think of all the money you can save between now and then. Having only a single garage, this would be my choice.

Porsche Boxter is an EPIC car and recently won the COTY, worth a look at as well. Better styled than the Cayman IMO.
Otherwise e92 with Schnitzer/Akrapovik Pipes. May be slower but who the hell cares when you making such glorious noises!

Only thing you'll miss from 135i to M3 is the torque. But you forget about that when you near 8,000rpm :inlove:

Lol Ay I'm a big turbo fan,but il hav to drive a m3 an see

If you buy an M car, you're buying a piece BMWs racing heritage

Totally agree! I suppose a c63 with software etc will be different.
M4 and m2 would be something nice although the pricing an the wait

I suppose looking at a second car would be an option something cheaper an guud to mod

Everyone says a M car is special. How special is the e92 m3? Whats makes it such a good M car?

Get yourself a Cayman S. A 135 probably runs it but who cares? Mid engined, low seating. It's a lot more fun with spirited driving.

Screaming through the gears in a 3.4L boxer engine 4tw

At the current 1M prices it really isn't worth it.

If your really like Turbo cars and you live uphere in the Highveld then I think you should rather wait till the next M3/M4 comes out...It seems like you really enjoying your car at the moment, so the wait till the next M is out wont be a problem...
