ASH said:If the E9x M3 is too common on the roads, what about the C63 AMG Coupe? I'm a BMW//Audi fan but as of late this is the only Merc, that turns my head. I do feel however they copied alot from the E92 with this, its like they took the proportions, profile and silhouette of the E92 and applied their Merc design language to the E92 shape rendered, the cars look very alike.......see below.
It is a stunning looking beast...........![]()

I don't know how old your current 135 is, but let's say selling that you get R400k?
Buying the 1M cost around R700k?
You pay R300k for a little extra power and torque, and then the M "feel" of the car. I don't think it's worth it.
M3? That V8 probably makes it a completely different car, and can be had for much cheaper. That might be a good idea, although it will be slower than a chipped 135.
A45 AMG / RS3 will probably be significantly different, but not necessarily more fun. You will have to test drive to be sure, and then decide if the premium is worth it.
Supercharged C63 AMG or M3. Now that sounds like heaps of fun, but will be expensive.
Or, buy a second car? You can then go for a secondhand Porche as a weekend car. If I had an extra garage, this would be my choice.
Or just wait for the M4 or M2. Think of all the money you can save between now and then. Having only a single garage, this would be my choice.
