Firstly, allow me to apologize for the state of my garage.
Good, now lets continue...

I did some reckless spending over the last week or so and here are the results.

But first let us see the progress on the headlights...
I sanded badly scratched lenses back, this was rather nerve wrecking as I have not done this before, but Youtube will teach you anything...

I used 400 -> 800 and then 1000 grit wet sandpaper.
Then it received its first coat of clear. This is before the paint settled.
I used Rustolium 2x clear, Its UV resistant and non-yellowing.

But more of this later...
Then I moved to fitting the HID kit, as I was still waiting on my LED's to get from the Germiston Hub to Boksburg.

I decided to try and fit them in the recess under the lights and this was my process.

Also the 2 top brackets of the left side light was broken off.
Made new brackets and they fitted nicely.

And then this arrived!

I immediately removed the old wing and man, what a mission.

And after removing all the old tape I was left with this...

Luckily some ScratchX sorted it out quickly.

Then it came to this!

I love it...
Then I just checked the function of the HID's and the Canbus cancelin.

Man I hate those Yellow rings.

I also received something else in the post, but I was going to wait to fit it as the bumper needed to come off. And I really did not want to take it off again later to fit the headlights once I got the LED's for the rings...

But the next morning...

And then...

And then...

I love this Kerscher lip, it has always been my favourite.

Then I thought, I will just have a look what the headlights are going to look like...

Mmmmmm!

And here are some pics of the completed (for now) fitment.

I will get some proper pics once the car is clean and the rings are white.
