So I recently became financially independent, at least just for my car for now.
I've always been a fan of BMW, and obviously I would eventually buy one regardless of what my first car is. Realistically, I wasn't expecting to get a BMW as a first car, but yesterday, a friend of mine approached me privately in selling his e36 318is.
He says he has had all the leather re-done, just replaced the shocks, replaced all the tires (including the spare). It's clocked about 200-250 (not sure), but the thing is I've driven it quite a few times and I haven't found any issues. The engine sounds and works like a brand new one (I don't hear any clunks), the clutch is still in top condition, all the electronics are fully functional and he just took it in for a full service two weeks ago. It's genuinely been really well looked after, I'll take a picture when I see him again. He is also the only previous owner, so I know where it is coming from.
He's asking for R 55k. Do you guys think its worth it?
