Donster n55 has its own record and n54. As any bmw person on this forum. You also have coastal and highveld.

No thats a n54 fbo at the coast dude. Read up. I did my 11.8 up in jhb. That n54 did his time at coast.

Ah, was a bit confused then. i thought you ran the 11.8 with the Vargas turbo's not stock ones. Makes sense then that the times are so close to the stock turbo runs.

While this thread has gone In a different direction to the topic I must say well done on keeping it composed and healthy,

Here is my 2c on this, while some great times have been posted at ODI, it is still not an MSA sanctioned venue or event, therefore in my own opinion the times at ODI would not count for saying you have a "category" or "class" record... ODI has also been known to have iffy timing equipment and that's probably why the track hasn't earned MSA approval...

If you want a legitimate time that will stand up to whatever scrutiny then I suppose a venue like tarlton will be a better idea... To those who have set times at ODI already it is however a venue to benchmark yourself against.

I guess it's like having a boxing match with Floyd Mayweather in your back yard and knocking him out, it is a knockout but it counts for nothing...

All the fast guys vying for top spot should settle this at the July fanatics race event. The fastest person with an x35 can receive their non MSA "crown" . Despite speeds & time fluctuations @ odi being commonplace!!! . It does somewhat provide a level playing field on the day.
