I swear it's a friend of mine that did the delivery.

I'm pretty sure your friend is my fiancé. 🤣

Congrats - The Resolute is an absolutely gorgeous special model and the Pro Exhaust is stupendous - For a boutique store option from an OEM it is silly, I love it.

Anyway lovely looking interior. Much better than a all black interior. Hope you enjoy the car, i adore mine to bits.

Been 8 months since the purchase of the Mini.
Not much mileage done with it mostly being used for my wife’s office commute 2-3 times a week.

I use it on the odd occasion for some weekend fun with mates, or if I’m feeling for an exciting office drive.

Not much to update other than all still going well. Still having loads of fun, and the quality of the build at this price point is one of the best we’ve experienced.

The JCW Pro Exhaust is a peach of an upgrade and cold start is fantastic. Also the sounds from the airbox/turbo flutter is so entertaining and just adds to the experience.

My son is also driving this car. Now I know I’ve said this many times and I’ve never kept to my word, but am definitely aiming to hold on to this car and hand it over to my son.
However, time will tell.

Mini went for a service last Friday. As I live in Centurion and car was due for just the yearly oil service, from a logistic point of view I booked the car at BMW/Mini Centurion.

When I called to book, I was told that the change of ownership wasn’t done, it was still linked to BMW East Rand. It’s been a year so yeah, that’s service for you. However, once I called BMW East Rand, they were fantastic in sorting it out within a few minutes.

The service at BMW Centurion was average, from the time I got there and booking the car in to them keeping me updated on the progress.
At time of booking in the car, there was no order or clear system in place, I waited for 90 minutes to get a lift back home and got the first generic sms update after midday.
Then no one answering the phone when I call to get an update on what time they will fetch me. Lucky I had the drivers number and had to call him to arrange my pick up.

Anyway, service was done, oil change, aircon filter and new wipers all round.
