Good Day

I have a 320i E90 2008

I am in need of some assistance,

I am going to do my first service this weekend and have bought the following:

Oil: CASTROL EDGE BMW LL-04
Oil Filter: GUD (M47)
Air Filter: GUD (AG1357)
and
Oil for Differential: CASTROL Syntrans Multi vehicle MTF 75W-90 Full Synthetic.

My question is: Can I use the CASTROL Syntrans Multi vehicle Manual Transmission Fluid, 75W-90 Full Synthetic in the diff?? The guy at my local spare shop said it will be fine, but I have to make sure that I use the correct oil in the diff. Manual Transmission Fluid and Diff oil doesn't seem to be the same thing??

Please assist.

Regards,

AFAIK Diff oils are lifetime approved unless you are experiencing diff problems.

But cant do harm to replace.

Lifetime as in warranty period of the car:hammerhead:
