Howsit okes!

So I need a little advise on what to check next.

I found out only one of my brake lights is working on my E36 (right side) So the left and middle ones are not working. First thing I did was check the fuse...changed it, but the problem is still there....next I changed the light bulbs....still no light...connections look good as they are hidden behind the plastic boxes and have never been removed before....

Please tell me what else can I check?...the Girlfriend is getting upset having to come out to push the brake every ten mins....:hammerhead:

Thanks for any advise!

strip open the wiring loom where it bends when you open and close the bootlid, those wires eventually break inside due to the bending everytime you open/close the bootlid.

The contacts in the plug that goes onto the main board the lights plug into also melted on my e36 once, just opened it up and did a DIY on it.

The E46's had a poor ground connection on the wire that connect to the tail light circuitry. Lay a separate decent earth to the tail cluster if you've exhausted the other options.
