Fault notifications on my 320i F30

[Dewald_F30_320i A/T M Sport]

Hi Everyone, my 320i A/T F30 M Sport 2014 model all of a sudden started giving me the following fault notifications the one after the other... Transmission fault...Park parking brake failure...Drivechain failure...Steering...Bonnet open....There's a loss of power in Sport mode, Triptronic not working at all and more power in Comfort mode... With no power on exceleration ... The car is out of motor plan ... Any one else that experienced something similar and Any ideas on how or where I can get this fixed without this costing an arm and a leg? Dewald 0798880011

Welcome! Sounds like it could be the battery? Maybe check that first, not likely that all those things just go wrong.. :thumbs:

Yebo - Agree with the battery comment.
Both my Audis and my Mazda went weird when their batteries were on the brink.

Hi, I had the battery checked, all good...faults still coming up...I also obtained a diagnostic report (Carly). The following codes came up: D016DC - Message error (Status display driving dinamics, ID: ST DISP DRDY) ...and...D018B5 - Embassy error (Status display combination, ID: ST DISP KI...and...CD040A FA-CAN module bus control off / FaCanBusOff 801C20 Central error memory full...andE11460 Message: (data display gear train 0x3fd) is missing, receiving combination, transmitter EGS DKG...and...E1040A FA-CAN module bus control off...and...E11465 CAN Communication error / CAN SME message display high-voltage battery...

So I had the battery checked and it was 100% fine......faults still coming up though...I also obtained a diagnostic report (Carly). Looks like your alternator is the culprit as the regulator is supplying much higher voltage than required :thumbs:
