F80 M3 to F90 M5

Hey guys,
Recently ( last week) I moved from the M3 to the M5.
Still soaking up the car, whilst in limitation mode ...up to 2000kms.
Still have that sad feeling letting go of my M3 CP...A nostalgic feeling.
Anyone else had a similar feeling letting go of a previous car, although the next one was meant to be better..
Maybe cos the M3 looks sportier and aggressive.
However the M5 is much more smoother.
My kids (10 &7) love the M5 over the M3 ..cos it has cup holders in the back seat....Their priorities.
The car sounds awesome though, especially on the downshifts.
Can’t wait for first service.

That is an epic upgrade bro!

I know that feeling though. Recently went from m235i to an f80 m3 and even though my m3 is so much faster and of course a proper M car, there is still a part of me that misses the m235i. Perhaps because that was my first sports car.

The F80 M3 is an awesome awesome car. Enjoy it fully.

just a note...there was a recall campaign on the coupler on the prop shaft. Before and after - Was not noticeable to me.

Agreed that the styling on the F90 is very subtle for a //M car, but that is “quickly” forgotten when you see others in your rear view mirror battling to catch up. The performance stats are impressive.
