I'm a bit confused after reading some threads on bimmerforum / f30post (mostly US posts)
They claim the F30 sport line in US includes "passive M sport suspension", "active M sport suspension" is a possible extra and they are debating which is best or if the upgrade is worth it.
As far as I can tell there is no such thing as "passive M sport suspension". From the F30 brochure I can only find
"M Sports Suspension" (SA704) R3450 - "vehicle lowered by 10 mm and stiffer spring/damper setup (not with SA2VF)"
and
"Adaptive M running gear" (SA2VF) R10900 - "features electronically controlled dampers that adapt to both driving style and road conditions, operating characteristics can be adjusted via the Driving Experience Control button, suspension lowered by 10 mm"
Neither of which are standard on sport trim. Is it possible that the specs in US are different or are they just smoking something over there?:fencelook:
