F30 Bootlid Shock/Strut

Hi guys/gals,

Does the F30 have a strut/shock on each side of the bootlid. I noticed my bootlid doesn't pop completely open when you push the respective button on the keyfob. It just unlocks. I could hear gas/hydrualic sounds when swinging the boot open and shut.

Any ideas?

When mine didn't open as quickly as it did before I adjusted the spring on each side - there is allowance for it to be adjusted. Have a closer look there.

Hi all, Took some pics with my father in laws car the other day...I did post them but only realized later it was in the wrong thread hahaha. He has an immaculate 2007 E92 325i witjh only 70 000km on. Sounds amazing that 6 cylinder.
