F30 335i Misfire on Startup

Hi all,

Just looking for some guidance. I have a 2014 F30 335i with about 120,000km on the clock. Recently I have started experiencing misfires on a cold start - the car will start, misfire, seem to loose RPM, and then on its own give it more gas and the RPM shoots up to overcome from stalling.

What do you think could be the issue? I was thinking it could be a bad injector or HPFP. I have no CEL and this has been happening every morning for the past week.

I don't know if its just in my head or not but my car feels a bit more sluggish and slower as well.

Any ideas what to look at?

Diagnostics is your friend.

Modern engines are far too complex to go guessing.

I have the enet cable coming next week to diagnose. Just thought if it wasn’t giving a CEL that diagnostics may not reveal anything
