Yes if you want to keep the plan, you have the car repaired at an ARC.

Crappy pic but here you go :

I have driven my friends F30 320i M, his car has a slightly harder ride due to the 19 inch rims. However it is quiet a bit more powerful than the E90 320i. Fuel wise I found it pretty decent especially when you put it into eco pro mode. In Sport mode I found the gearing more aggressive and it keeps the car in a higher rev rage so makes for great fun around bends. With the sound, his car came with the harman kardon system which is really awesome. Very clear sound, good base with surround sound.

hope this helps

Congrats! Looks really nice , Show more pictures :) How does it drive?

Thanks man. This is my first automatic and I can say with confidence that I will never drive a manual car ever again. :D

Just a joy to drive. Haven't really exploited the power properly yet, but I did a few overtaking manoeuvres and it's definitely much faster than the E90 320i I had previously.

Car is more comfortable to drive than the E90, but the steering is definitely much lighter on the F30. Some consider this to be a bad thing, but I don't mind - I actually felt the steering feel on the E90 was too heavy.

All in all I'm very happy with the purchase. Still haven't driven it in Sport mode yet, mostly in Comfort. Look forward to trying Sport.

On another note, I saw a Lexus IS350 on the N1 and it was blistering quick. My word, that car has serious power.[/align]

Yeah, sport mode is a different beast altogether. :D Tried out last night, but man does it chow fuel! :(

Would love to keep in Sport all the time but man, I don't think I can. Probably keep in Comfort and Sport for rare occasions. :blueCry:

Loving the car so far, but had a bit of a mishap today. Putting the car into the garage, the security gate was moved out the way and the wind pushed it against the side of the car, scraping it. Now I have a 6 cm long scratch in the paintwork. :(

Is there any place I can go in Cape Town for touch ups to sort out scratches in the paintwork? I just need some advice here. Thanks.

Send a pic. If it's not a bad scratch, you can possibly just buff it out for now. Take some polish and go over it with a microfibre cloth again and again. Worked for me once on my silver F20. Could barely notice it after. But if it's quite deep, then you're out of luck.

So still enjoying the 320i, but I have a question. Does this car have a launch control?

I find I can't get my car to launch quickly at all. There is like a lag where even far slower cars can get off the line quicker initially which has me puzzled. There is like a half second from the time I put my foot on the accelerator all the way (before the kick down) which is a bit jarring.

How do you guys get the quickest launches with this auto? Tips?

Not sure if you've tried this, but there is a "button" under the accelerator. If you put your foot flat, and press a little more, you will feel a slight "click" - that's the launch control as far as I know; test it out.

This sounds more like the kickdown switch.. As far as I know, there was no launch control on the 320I.

Good day,

So I've recently bought a F30 320 sport (second hand though). I've had her a couple of months and Honestly I must say I am dead happy until last week. Car ended up going into a limp mode due to over heating. Anyway pulled over got the car Towed in and ran diagnostic test. Turns out my coolant pump (water pump) is busy going.
Can anyone recommended a GOOD RMI workshop on the east rand?
