f10 M5 vs GTR V SPEC

hi gents

just want your take on if you put these to breast together, which one will come out on top, had an agrument with a customer today and he is admits that the nissan is faster than a M5, so just your take on this topic.....

the M5 is an amazing car, one of the best, but even with all its muscle can it knock the GTR of the top of the standings????

well i really dont think so gents, stock for stock frm a standing start to 400m i think the nissan will be infront, but come to the 500m mark the M5 will catch that nissan and pass it......

but it also comes down to the driver as well, that nissan wont open the M5 by alot, the M5 will eventually catch the nissan.....

we are gona do a test soon the guys from nissan across the road are keen to try they new nissan aganst our M5......

on paper the skyline is much quicker and more suitable for the road, but you must never believe what you see on paper...... i got a feeling that once that V8 with those 2 blow drys start breathing and gets into its legs.....its gona eat the skyline up and spit in back out......:biglol:

please guys dont bit my head of about this, its just my personal opinion :fencelook:

ok understandable.....but i have faith in the M5

porsche clained they had the fastest car around the nurberg ring.....untill nissan came with they skyline and smash that time.....the porsche guys got so upset....that they went and bought the own nissan skyline and bet they own time:biglol:

the difference is just some software and different gearing..... i spoke to the nissan guys across the road, they said some where around 30 - 40 kw difference and about +/- 80nm of torque.....:flyfun:

The //M5 is only quicker on rolling runs..

Off the line the GTR will eat it..

at ODI i believe stock M5 recording 1km at 254kph and stock GTR's doing between 250-260kph..

so goes to show what the M5 is capabale of after the 1st 2 gears wheel spin...

a 150kg heavier 4 door sedan!

the thing is that the M5 spends most of its time wheel spining before it really gets traction......over rid the dsc and that car turns into a animal, like a raging bull on steriods.....

i saw to months ago, at denver, new spec skyline running a f10 m5.....ofline the skyline got infront but comes 2nd and 3rd it close the gap and was level with it down the home stretch.....i went mad lol:bravo:

o happy days.....the thing is that a skyline can do 250km with 2ppl in the car, the M5 can do 250km with 5 ppl inthe car.....a full boot and pulling a trailer:biglol::biglol::biglol::rollsmile:

Thanks gents 4 dat......it just goes to show the bmw dnt just build cars dat run to 400m.....dey build real machines.....the clips where amazing......but my fact still stands I think wud that 8 speed box in the new M5 will mop da floor with that skyline....don't get me wrong the skyline is a beast bt in the end its still a nissan.....big ups to the M3.....BMW bench mark......

A friend took me for a drive in his 2012 skyline and its a whole new feeling i rate that the Nissian is awesome and would probably buy it over the M5 :fencelook: i love bmw but this is just from personal experience, the launch on a gtr is on another level its like you are being catapulted of the line
