Hi everyone I have a 2015 f10 M5 and recently burnt out 1 ecu.( as my car has 2 ecu's) I bought a donor one and need someone with experience to code and program it for me on the durban area.

I currently have a technician who has started the car but it's more of an intermittent start as I think the dme 1 to dme 2 to cas sync isn't fully done. It's also not recognizing the master and slave.

Please advise if you know of anyone whose done this before.

youre going to come across lots of people who will tell you they can do this, trust me, the ability to resolve your issue is a scarce skills outside of the BMW network.

Yes i know everyone says yes they can do it but they really don't know much about it. It's not as simple as a normal f10 where there's only 1 ecu. That is why I'm looking for someone with experience in doing this who knows what they are doing

Did your water-jacket run dry? (more out of interest?)

You might be better off seeking a remote coding option via ebay OR biting the bullet and using a dealer. You most likely need to VO code both ECUs and align the firmware on both. You also have to make sure that the VIN is correct in all 3 modules and that the ECU serials are the same/off by one digit (Can't remember). These are all things that can be done between eSys and ISTA+.

The only person I'd hand-on-heart suggest would have been OBDWorx Gert but they don't do private work anymore. The site is still up though so give them a buzz perhaps?

Thanks bud I'll give him a shout. What happened to mine was I sent the vehicle in for custom catless downpipes. However once the work was finished the car refused to start. I suspect welding was done on the vehicle. I tried to repair my old ecu but it's unrepairable. Therefore purchased the donor.

I dont know which area you are.

But there is a gent in Randburg by the name of Mauricio, he is BMW affiliated from the technical team, and does coding, keys, electrical etc.
His number is 071 024 4862

He sorted out the issue of my old M6 when the keys would not work after BMW did a software update.

We can assist, you will need to courier to ECU's to use in Jhb.

We do a lof of these as the Ecu's get damaged due to high levels since they sit near to the downpipes
