The F30 motor will give you much more of a thrill than the F10 but I seriously doubt that the overall drive quality of the F30 will match the F10.

Perhaps I am wrong but this was certainly the difference when I went from E90 to E60. It felt like 2 different car brands.

At the end of the day, it depends on what you are looking for in a car and I am by no way insinuating that the F30 has a poor drive quality. It's great but the F10 is just aimed at a different segment.

Thanks. This is my problem exactly, you can not compare the ride of the F10 to the F30, different class, but the that 6 pot ......

The 530d/535d/535i is just getting a bit much in terms of price, you are looking at the 530d and 535i at R750k (at my spec) and the 535d at R800K.

But buying a 3 at R600 sounds also not right, my heart screams 335i and my mind (and wife) says any BM that has a badge that starts with a 5

Ok, that's an excpetion with lots of make up :) If it came out like that, then ja, 3 series all the way :=):

hehe yeah it does have some makeup. but really just wheels and front bumper.

amazing how just the wheels transform the car.

here is the F30 335i sport

BTW, the blue calipers are optional at R7,500 and this is not just a colour, but a complete upgraded brake package, the one comming in also has this, plus NAV, Active steering, Park assist, Sport transmission etc......

I am 35, but my job requires that I act more like a 5 series with exclusive pack than a 335i Sport Pack maniac :bangdesk:

Love the new 5 Series, but F30 335i!!

Yes Philip, that is the problem. This problem is so BIG for me right now, I might just stick to my E90 for a while, seriously :flyfun:

I want both, but I can't have both

everyone is happy with your current 335i so why would the new one be any different?

335i !!!! Such a beautiful car, but wait for the motorsport, you will regret not getting that car when you rolling around in your 5 series, that 335i motor is something else!
