I have the 3:62:1 ratio and my 6th gear at 120km/h is around 3500rpm.

Never given this thread a second look beyond the first post in 2016 until today.

Then I saw the chassis cleaning and it got me really hooked. And then the order of maintenance.....
To have such a clean and old[ish] daily driver takes some nerves of steel.

Gizmo, with the diff swap on that 330 where does the revs sit at 120km/h?

3k at 120.
So its now identical to the 5spd 330i with its OEM diff. You just have more gears in between

Well sort of, Momentum Auto, owner is on the forum.

Gizmo, you know I need more power so instead of converting my 4 pot to a 6 pot, Id rather buy a proper BMW from the start..
