Glad to see you put the m54b30 idea to bed. Keep her stock!
Yeah I'm glad, the wife is happy and my bank balance will remain happy[GRINNING FACE WITH SMILING EYES].

This will continue to be my daily and when the mess is sorted with my 320d will look into something with some proper HP.

And like you said, she is in a very good condition, why mess with it...

Old Rad vs new BEHR Rad. Cleaned the fan and checked for any damage etc. All was good. Swap everything over.

Fitment went without a hitch, decide not to change any pulleys or belt as these were in top condition.

Filled the Rad with 50/50 distilled water and BMW coolant.
Bled and checked for any leaks etc.

There was a slight wet spot coming from the temp switch in the Rad but I didn't torque it enough.

All the parts except the radiator, coolant and water came from Axis ( awesome pricing Sean

Car might be up for sale[CRYING FACE]..
What do you guys reckon I can get for her?

A good investment opportunity has come my way..

Not really an update but yeah, car is treating me extremely well.
Approaching 198kkm now and ave consumption is at 8.9L/100km.

Can't wait till my issues with my 320d is sorted so I can get something with some power again!

A small voice in my head keeps whispering " do an LS swap", "LS everthing".

Mail a company in the US, Vorshlag *spelling* and they do these conversions aswell as selling everything you might need to do the swap and unfortunately( fortunately) their kits are not made for RHD..

An " LS" engine is GM's V8 engine ( 5.7, 6.0, 7.0 etc small block V8 push rod motor) and come in almost every GM car or truck (bakkie).

Cars like the Corvette and localy the Lumina SS has a LS motor.

These engines doesnt weigh that much more than a M52 engine believe it or not and transmission wise, a T56 gearbox fits like a glove.

Speak to osiris on a trade with cash difference. By the looks of it he is going to need another economical runabout real soon.

[FACE WITH TEARS OF JOY].

Gizmo, with the diff swap on that 330 where does the revs sit at 120km/h?
