Ta fanatics,

Below are some of the pictures i took during the trip with my family to East London...

This was a 2000Km journey that put the 330 through its paces for the first time. Since my wife was not really keen on driving, i negotiated the taxing journey gaan and treg on my own!

Overall, i was very impressed with how this car preforms on a long distance trip. Comfortable, solid, and a mean machine if you want it to come alive

Sure!

I was very surprised with the money i spent on petrol, very reasonable especially when i came back because it was night time, the car was on cruise, and the road was wide open.

Indeed its beautiful place and i was surprised that East London was not cold at all even during this time.

My dad stays in King William's Town but told me the coastal area is not cold at all even in winter, but if you move inland, then its flipen cold.

Unfortunately I only enjoyed Nahoon and its beautiful beach, will try the hotdogs from Windmill roadhouse next time. I was actually searching all over the place where they braai some good steak but found none :roflol:

With a 330i what type of consumption did you get on the open road? Went down that route when I went to Fort Beaufort in a 320i and two full tanks later with a bit of over speeding we arrived.
These cars really love the open road and between Aliwal North and Queenstown there are some nice stretches to really let all the horses play....if you know what I mean.

I agree 100%, i enjoy driving on that streach as well...

When i went down, i think i averaged around 8-9L/100km at 130Km - 140Km thereabout. But when i came back that number dropped significantly to about 5-6L/100km doing 120 all the way for 10hours. I also stopped a lot to give the little ones a break, in every major town i stopped.
