So here we are picking up our 1st EV (with winter tires)! My wife love's BMWs so it was a no brainer when we recently moved from the US to SWI. I was quite keen on the little M2 on the floor but of course over here speed enforcement is so strict that you have to be practical and the EV made sense. Since we have a dedicated charge port in our basement parking, we decided to try it out. So far so good and running cost is about 1/3 compared with say the X1 M35i. Planning our 1st long distance road trip to Girona Spain in December so will have more to say about the ownership experience as it evolves! Cheers for now, jvdb.

Thanks guys, the frozen grey and matte colours are very popular over here. Need to figure out the cleaning products (SwissVax's matte range looks good). The other challenge is actually washing your car as it's illegal in our Canton to wash your car at home. So you have to go to a dedicated car wash where they have self service wash bays, if you don't want to use the automatic carousel (which I'll never use - 
). A handwash is like 150 CF which is also ridiculous considering they probably won't do such a good job anyways! But hey, it's Switzerland so any form of labour is expensive.
