E92 led taillights

Hi guys

I would like to fit a set of led taillights to my e92?
I am aware that it needs to be coded, but does anyone know if they can be retrofitted without any other issues? Are the harness plugs, mounting points all the same etc? I'd appreciate any help ...

You need a harness that can be purchased from bmw.
Then its plug n play, plus the coding.
In some cases the footwell module needs to be replaced as well.

I really want to do this mod on my car, makes such a big difference to the rear and the fact that the parts are oem means they can't be difficult and let it affect my motorplan...

I'll enquire about the prices and post them on this thread if any1 else is interested...

Yip, they quoted me R2969.75 each for the outers and R2258.81 each for the inners

Haven't called as yet for the price of the harness....

Revo, is there anyway to find out if the footwell module will be needed for my car, did some research on m3post.com, some guys say they can code around the footwell module

My intention was to get it done through bmw, but was busy reading more on m3post, they have a full write up. I need to find the URL and paste it here 4anyone else Thayt might be interested... It has details on how to check which foot module your car has and even details regarding the coding of the lights.

If bmw wasn't going to help, I was going to ask motronix or thr Xcede guys 4help...

Pity I'm not from the cape, otheriwse would have done this via you Revo... Btw, love your car boet, its a head turner of note!

I would have considered this but not at that price.
