E91 touring vs E39 touring

Hi guys,

I would like to get your opinion as am planning to buy a new ride but cant make up my mind...

Now there are 2 options I'm looking at but looking for some advice

option 1:

now my heart is leaning towards the E39 as i always wanted this beauty but on the other hand the newer model is also a nice to have.....

You were right the first time, it is an E91 and get the E39. The 320i engine is crap and having had both 320i and 325i variants of the E91, I'd say get the 525 if a 325i E91 is off the cards.

E90 got no touring. The touring is the E91.

Forget whether it is an E90 or E91 and just get the E39:=):

So i drove the e91 this morning an man oh man... What a disappointment.

Issues as follows:
Front badge faded
Front floor carpets wet - indicating a leak
Front bumper had a bit of a bash
Shuttle cassette missing
Aircon not working
Tool kit in boot all missing
Boot handle rubber cover missing - boot only opens with button on key
And the worst of all... There is a metal sheering sound coming from the rear diff while driving


Some positives.... (not that it will make difference)
All manuals intact and available
Service booklet shows servicing was done on time until 2014
Interior neat and clean (apart from the water leak)
