E90 Strange happening

Okay guys this happened over the weekend.
i went to the shop and had the sunroof and window opened.
jumped out the car and held the lock button down so that all the windows and sunroof can close, but the drivers window closed halfway and the sunroof did not close.

When i got back only did i notice the above.
So started the car and got a orange warning light showing the window sign saying that the window mech is faulty.
The window winds perfect up and down and closes with the key as well.

Now heres the strange part.
I used the car to Rosetenville, went into the spar came out tried to unlock the car and the alarm went of for 10sec's and then the car is dead, dont want to open, lock, start nothing.
Had to boost the battery and then the car started.

Drove hom switched the car of and back on, and no go .
Pulled the key out and reinserted it and the car started.

The following has been checked:
Spare key - all ok
Battery and alternater - perfect condition

All of the above started only after that warning came up.

That's some wierd shit - I was pointing to the power but that doesn't appear to be the case as you state.

Good luck!

Might be an issue with the door locks - both my front locks were replaced recently under MP. The issue is that they start drawing too much power at some stage, which might explain why it could have killed the battery.

Have the codes read and it should help identify if this is the issue. Keep us posted

The alarm, window and sunroof are all operated by one module on the E90, I can't for the life of me remember what it was called, but it sounds like it's on the fritz. You're probably going to want to visit the dealer for this one, my guess is they'll either recode/update most of your car's modules, or replace that one.

eish ok
my car did go for a full software reload about a month ago when it poped up the steering lock sign.

They should be able to. I'd rate them more as capable than your average BMW dealership.
