E90 M3 - Schnitzer Pipe

Hi,

I am thinking about fitting Schnitzer pipes on my E90 M3, having said that, the stock pipes look great and sound decent - so my question is:

Have any of you guys tried the Schnitzer Pipes on a V8 M3? I am waiting for JSN BMW to return my call re: A Quote. Any guidance/reviews will really be appreciated.

32k if you are lucky. Get the race version and not the sport. Sport sounds too similar to OEM. Price will be the same for the two variations.

FYI AC Schnitzer is a rebadged Remus system.

Too loud and it drones.

If you want sound go for it but the power on the V8 is all in the x-pipe. Back boxes only give around 5kw.

After 14 months of research, I even had a thread on this forum, I eventually decided on an Eisenmann Race system with cross pipes for my E92 M3.
I've had Schnitzer systems on my cars before which were great but this Eisenman Race system is pure acoustic ecstasy :excited:

Eisenmann is absolutely awesome. But how about the noise inside the cabin at cruising speed?

And what happens on long trips :thinking:? Mine is extremely loud on start up(especially when cold) and at low rpms, so much so that over the weekend i started it up in an under cover parking lot and it set a few cars alarms at idle

However at cruising speeds it sounds oem, loving every bit of it :thumbsup:

BTW checked out your video, the car a totally awesome on track. Wish we guys down in KZN had something.

I have the Schnitzer's, the sound sweet and look nice as well, tried a dekat system with the Schnitzer...then it got Really Loud, so I got the std Katz back on with the Schnitzer.
