E90 Indicator flick

Hi Guys,

On the newer e90s when you flick the indictor it flicks 3 times and switches off. Is there a way to activate it on the pre LCI?

I like that option when over taking.

The same setting is possible on your pre lci... 1 or 3 are your options.
Go play around in the menus and you will find it. i can't remember off hand the exact settings and place for it but it's possible for sure.

The menu option for this is only available when the car is at a standstill. Also can't remember exactly where though ...

Correct yes... i like that also.. when you drive all goes away, which is good cause some people will not focus on driving but rather playing with their menu options. lol.

My 2005 E90 330i was 3 flicks by default and never had the option on the onboard to change (not that I wanted to). My wife's 2007 323i on the other hand, had the option.

The fact that it is just once at the moment for you, I believe that the option will be there

I think when you enter the "hidden menu" by hulding the trip reset buttom for some seconds and then inserting the keyfob, you'll get to a menu where that can be selected.

Do a search on the e90forum for hidden e90 menu and you'll come across it :thumbs:

Not hidden on mine.. :thumbs:
Start the car, check through the menu's and it's there.

For sure there's hidden menu's also... lol lol... i like to test the clocks every now and then... everything goes to the max and then drops back down etc... tests all the warning lights etc so the dash looks like a christmas tree...

The menu is definately there, go in and you will find it, otherwise drive passed a dealer and they will sort it out.

Have never played with the hidden menu - should actually give it a go just out of interest.

But mine has always done the 3 indicate when flicking the stalk, very cool feature - have never seen this as an option, so always took this as being "normal"...

It was just there on my pre-lci, quick touch flickered 3 times. On my LCI Its not here automatically. So you guys say it must be activated in the menu? Intersting.
