Hi Guys
I have just recently become a BMW owner. Bought a 2006/2007 325i Auto. Real good condition. Car has 96000km on the clock. The dealership that I bough her at don't really know too much about BMW and I have some questions. A couple days ago we felt something that didn't seem right. When you are coasting at say 50/60km/h and you put your foot down just a little to speed up a bit the car jerks harshly twice until it gears down to accelerate. This doesn't seem normal at all so I want to know if anyone has some ideas before I take it back to the dealership to get it looked at.
Secondly do these motors have cam belts or chains?
Thirdly can I remove the catalytic converter without any side effects?
