E90 330i Idle issue

Morning fellow BMW fanatics

Just wanna introduce myself. The name is JP and ive recently purchased a 2006 E90 330i and im loving it. I stay in the Cape Town area and i cant wait to meet up with some of the guys.

Im sorry to do this as my first post but i require abit of help. Ive got this irratating idling issue. When ever i come to a stop the idling flutters. U can actually feel it in your seat. It idles normal then drops to 400 and back up. Its worse when i just start up cold.

Im new to BMW so i dont even know where to start looking.
Anyone have any advise or a reliable mechanic i can take it to.

I had an idle issue with my 2009 e90 325i LCI. First what happend is that I had an leaking injector that caused a misfire in the moarning. Then after they replaced the injectors all was fine. Then after 3days it started a new symptom. It would hunt in the morning when I start it up. After replacing lots of spares and a PUMA case was opend they eventualy replaced the complete head and my problem was solved. They suspect the vanos in the head that is the problem.

thanks heavens I bought it by a dealer. the car is only 7 days old so I took it back. hopefully they get it sorted. im amped for the breakfast run

So dealer had it checked out and turns out to be the vanos adjustement unit.
Will keep u updated.
