E90 320d Sportpack

Hi folks,

I mentioned on another thread that if i could lay my hands on a decent low mileage 320d like I traded on my X3 I would jump at it.

Well today I hit pay dirt!:=):

My accountant came to see me and one thing lead to another and we got talking about cars. Low and behold, the man has a space grey 320d Sportpack. December 2012 purchase by him, registered Jan 2013 (although that makes no odds to me) with 42000km's on the clock.

And he wants to sell:tiptoe: to get an F30. Best part is I said I can't do anything right away because I have big$$ owing to us (which he knows as my accountant:roflol and until that's paid I am not spending so he said he's happy to wait until I am ready. Should be December for me.

Now the Rxxxx question. The car is immaculate so what would be a fair price to pay??

I was thinking around the R 215 000.00 mark due to low mileage??

Sounds right...call a dealer and ask what the value is.. but that price is sweet.

And for the year model...makes me think...can it stil as a 2013 since e90 stopped in 2012...and funny u stil could bought a e90 at desember 2012..due f30 came out in 2012 if im right...

F30 came out in early 2012, so he could have a 2011 december car registered in 2012.

Yup, I agree. I suspect that production run out occurred early part of 2012 and the sales run out continued into 2013 perhaps?? Dealers may have been struggling to unload new E90's when the F30's were on the floor.

I will check via the VIN number and then get the MP history. But knowing my accountant for 10yrs he's a fastidious individual so that car is clean as a whistle.:=):

I realised with my posting about the e39 540i, this post is at odds:crazylaugh:

Short story , my accountant decided he's keeping the 320d for another year at least and I need a car now.

Hence the 540i. Talk about polar opposites in terms of vehicles:roflol:
