Was this the factory 125 kw, 130 kw or 135 kw E90 320d?

i ran the 320d last night and it was quite strong against a Cupra only thing was when i put 3rd gear he opened a car gap and then i pulled away. 1st 2nd i was ahead .

No dude, The Cupra TDI was still stock and he was 2 cars infront the whole way... we were all there and Saw it happen... :thumbsup:

There were 10-15 guys there and they all saw the Cupra jump infront from the line and just open. Even our 2nd run saw the Cupra ahead and just opening.

You say in third I opened a car gap and then you pulled away. Damn you must have a supernaturally strong 4th gear then :bs:

We can run again when you ready. But remember I just got the car when I ran you and my launching and gear change will get better...

Might have SW and Exhaust by then too

I should have checked first, what is the power rating of the Cupra?...i know they are extinct in S.A.....sorry, "discontinued production"; and they are aparently built on the VW platform...other than that, i know zero of these cars...

I know the 320D & 120D chipped are not wonderful off the line but we come in our stride from 3rd gear onwards and then it pulls strong untill it runs out of breath...i am with the owner of the 320D (Paul) on this even if we lost the run....next time we keep the outcome closer:thumbsup:

tashen, those German drivers are crazy...imagine driving from Bonn all the way to Munich...okay with stops in between...in the fast left lane @ 180km/ph and then you still have to give way to quite a few audis & beemers going even faster...and still going....eish the autobahn is something...strangest of all is there are speed signs 130km/ph on the autobahn but it really does not mean anything

Previn, your car is amazing for a stock Cupra & I mean it when I say that. You have a real sleeper there it seems. Most stock Cupra TDi's run very similar to stock Polo GTI's based on what I hear from drivers of both cars but your car is in a completely different league to those cars with low 15's already under its belt & the fact that it can outperform it's big 177kW K04 turbo Leon Cupra brother over 400m points to it being a Wednesday car of note. A friend of mine with what must be one of the fastest Cupra TDi's in the country recently asked me for a friendly run against his car when I'm down in his neck of the woods sometime. I don't race much at all these days but may just take up his offer for the fun of it, just to see what happens since I've never ever gone up against a strong modded oil burner. His car has run lowish 14's I believe.

I am more impressed with the cupra than everyone else! lol!

I didn't buy the car brand new so maybe it has some tweaks (although I doubt the lady raced it hehehe)?
Maybe it is just a Wednesday car or my driving technique works well on a TDi?
I ran a Golf5 GTi (not sure what spec) on Sunday afternoon and was ahead!! I was really shocked.

Will only really know what this car is capable of when I do the SW and DP
Busy researching and looking for a good SW supplier
Have not forgotten your advise though
