Mmm...so I noticed when the Fiance pulled off in my car this morning a small puff of blue smoke on my 2011 320d with 112k km's.

I did a bit of googling and didn't really find anything. You guys have any experience with this? Hoping it's not something serious?

Now, I'm doing a service in 4000km and am thinking of changing Oil (Shell Helix Ultra 5w40) Oil Filter, Air Filter, Cabin filter, Diesel filter and the Oil breather.

Any other suggestions on what I should be looking at?

Thanks!

Nah...Drove to work. Parked it for about an hour or so and then she left. Started up fine...and then as I saw her drive off I noticed a small puff at the exhaust. Was def blue.

I've always known diesels to puff out a little...but this caught me as it was blue...which I would think means oil.

Mmmm..this is interesting. I called BMW for a quote on the spares. Apparently my car doesn't have a oil breather that needs to be replaced? I'm assuming mine would not have the "loo" type one and a more updated one?
