E70 x5 3.0d msport

Hi guys
I'm having an issue with the rear tailgate of my e70 X5 it opens perfectly with the remote but doesn't want to close automatically when u press the button on the tailgate

Wat could be the problem?

I dont remember the E70 having a mechanised tailgate. Maybe post a pic/video of what happens

It was an option.

Perhaps check if no internal wiring corrosion from the button.

Also see if you can code the function to be purely from the car remote. I.e I can open and close my car boot electronically from the remote.
