This occurs intermittently. When I turn the key to start the engine turns over but does not fire up (Start). It does not seem to help if I just hold the key in start for long or short bursts, it just suddenly starts. Clearly this seems to be a petrol starvation problem. Have had a new petrol pump fitted but did not help. Some bystander told me there are sensors at the back and front of the car in the fuel line which may not be operating. Anyone have any opinions as to what the problem is likely to be and how to fix it? I have had the keys checked in case it is an immobiliser problem bu seems the keys are ok. I should also say that once it starts it does not cut out or miss a beat at all.
