E46 Wiper blades

I got a set from Diesel electric in Riverhorse park in DBN last week. Cost around R220. On mine the drivers side blade was not contacting properly due to the plastic clip mentioned above. Removed the clip after much trying and the blades now contact perfectly. Have to admit its the best blade Ive ever used. No streaks or bumps. I had a good chance to test it yesterday in the rain between DBN and JHB.

I just bought aero twins for my e46, but the driver side wiperblade does not make proper contact on windscreen. i have not fitted the wiperblade shield which is still on the old blade as im struggling to get it off the old blade

Read above - there is a plastic clip on the driver's wiper arm that needs to be removed for the driver's side Aero Twin blade to work properly!

Are you talking about the wing deflector on the old original wiper blade frame? No need for this now with the Aero Twin since part of its job is to push the wiper blades more firmly against the glass, hence the "Aero" name.

It seems to unclip a bit easier if it's wet, as if you had been driving in the rain.

Or just take a screw driver and force it. Will pop right out and you don't need it..
