E46 replace boring cluster with M cluster

In the standard E46 the economy gauge is way more useful than an oil temperature gauge. I agree that coolant pressure and oil pressure would be awesome.

I am starting to like the idea of digital gauges but i still would like some nice looking needles... not only pixels

My 325i has done 201xxxkm's and it had a real hard time, so the oil temp gauge was of no use to me. Just drive slowly until the car has reached full operating temperature on the heat gauge and then you can slowly start giving it stick. My 325i sees the limiter everyday at least a couple of times. :rollsmile:

I agree, a normal cluster with needles and a screen with all the other info just like a GT-R.

Found a solution to the original query which doesnt involve swapping clusters.
