E46 - Need angel eyes rings? how and where? pls help

Hi folks! I am new in here..just got my bmw E46 - 2005 and I am want to have those beautiful rings for my headlights (the so called angel eyes or predators ..)..I've read a bit through the forum here but all posts I found seem old (2009 and so)..

if you have any idea where and how to find those rings in Cape town area? how much would it cost? is it easy to fit in or need to be brought to BMW technicians? please inform on best rings? would like to have quality ones / original...

Speak to vsomai on the forum, he can supply for you. To fit them takes under an hour.

Vsomai seems to be the forum's official light fanatic.. so he can get them for you, if not him, I'm sure some of the other sponsors can organize.

Thanks guys! I will first try to find "vsomai" on the forum (still new in here..) and yes they do look rad! I have dark grey metalic color and also looking for smoked headlight glass if available!? with the angel eyes it should look awesome...

I ve seen on you tube there are different colours (yellow, red etc..) is that available in Cape town? thanks

E46 guys can contact vsomai who supplies ccfl and LED angel eyes. That would be your first option. Second option is to import like me and moranor did from www.jlevistreetwerks.com

With regards to the 130i antec im not sure if the light assembly can be opened. If not your gonna have to get in touch with vsomai as he is one of the few that knows how to open the silicone shut headlight assemblies. This involves putting the headlight in the oven to soften the silicone and then carefully pry it open. But its very easy to damage the light.

thanks guys for your inputs, apparently the Weisslicht rings are the Rolls Roys of its kind, spent lot of time searching yesterday and spoke to the vendor online, they located in the states (US) check it out here:

I am located in Cape town, I found some guys doing custom rings CCFL and LED with fitment and bunch of other customization..but after i chatted to the guy he said the LED they have are is less brighter than CCFL so they focus mostly on CCFL, he seemed not convinced by the LEDs they sell..but for fitment I think they are good.. every one say its easy to fit them up but after checking this detailed video on Youtube I just found it really tricky to do..not impossible but very tricky..

so for now I ll wait for Vsomai to get a quote for the Weisslight, then if the price is good I would definitely take it and fit it by those guys in cape town..

if the leds are dimer than the ccfl they have kak leds...

i also have the Weisslight Angel Eyes they pricy but they last and are very bright i would not think twice about getting another pair for my next e46 :rollsmile:

Oh ok cool.guess what I've asked BMW here if they know about it or do it, the technician said: you can't do it, and if so you need to change the whole set of headlights! they stupid or what..lol

Did you fit it yourself? also the SVC concept website they seem like they don't sell the Weisslivht rings anymore!!
