E46 M3 Warning

This is a heads up:
A red E46 SMG M3 will be coming up for sale pretty soon I imagine.
I bought this car in Jan, after 5 days the gearbox failed. It is too long a saga for here and now, but the end result is that the sale was reversed at the finance banks instruction after more than 2 months of unpleasantness. I was told by the dealer that if they could not fix the car to my satisfaction, then they would do a 'quick fix' and sell it at auction to cover their costs.
Just thought i owed it to a prospective buyer to be made aware.

Not doubting their reputation one bit. However, just know that they were sitting with a red E46 M3 SMG about 3-4 months ago - not many where on the market at the time the OP bought, hence the question, as I've been watching some of the dealer sales for pricing.

2003 Imola Red, Black interior, Smoke Wheels, SMG, 132 000 km.
VIN WBSBL92030JR06891. I put on a set of new Conti sport Contact M3's which did 15km before gearbox failed. Dealer: Velocity Cars Canal Walk.
I'm now trying to get back my deposit, the cost of the new tyres and the installments....
