Kabal, do you go to work with only socks on boet? No, its a ful system from after the secondaries. No drone, just music, phenominal music!:joy:

I wish you drive the car, you won'nt believe what you will be hearing. I also expected a drone or boom especially when cruising, I was suprised that there is none.

I will post photos comparing the previous and new system's quality of workmanship, which will explain the gain in power over the previous "performance experts' system.

The manufacturer's name is still a secret untill we have the final tune done and figures available. All I can say now, is that the increase just by fitting the new system, rendered 10Kw on the wheels under load at peak power on a Destek dyno, and 13Kw @ 8000 rpm! The M3 is in for tuning today. I suspect that the more effective extraction of the exhaust gas from the combustion chambers also result in increased air to be drawn into the combustion chambers, which can cause possible leaning out of the intake mixture.

I'll know soon though and post the results

The new and old left rear silencers are displayed, which seems to be the better of the two and why? It should be obvious for the technical guys

the old exhaust looks like it was bent up by the hulk :roflol:

do you still have the stock exhaust? would have been interesting to compare that to what you have fitted now...

Sorry for not responding, I had a hectic last two weeks. I would like to hear from the performance guys what do they think of especially the bends in the old exhaust compared to those in the new one. I will also post another comparrison between the centre sections of the two systems. Also note the difference in finish quality of the welding and brackets.

and the old one

Let me hear from you guys!

well the new one is a vast improvement over the old aftermarket one... the new one is mandrel bent while the old one is crush bent... also the new one has less extreme bends so if has o flow better

The pipe has a balance-pipe, in other words the two pipes do not cross-over, rather a balance pipe installed perpendicular between the two parallel pipes, just after the secondaries. Will post pics thereof later.
