E46 M3 High pitch noise

Hi Guys

So when I start my car after like 3 seconds I hear this high pitch noise, it comes from the rear passenger side, When I switch off it takes like a second to fade away ... this doesn't happen all the time.

A few times starting the car it just switched off ... I had to give it a rev to keep it alive...

Is this the fuel pump ?

Take the back seat bottom out and you should be able to hear if it's the pump

Was thinking of doing that ...

I noticed the noise goes away when I drive, takes like a second or two to come back after stopping.

Is there any drop in performance of the car? and then a sudden increase of power?

No there isnt ...

I removed the seats, cant hear anything by the fuel pump ...

Where does your mother in law sit? Rear passenger side?

Eish its very pricey ... Thinking of going with the HPF if it is the fuel pump.
