E46 330I SWITCHING OFF

Hi Guys

I have e46 330i, the car starts but doesn't even idle for a second and switches off only after a couple of attempts it starts and idles.
I have replaced the camshaft sensor and swopped the airflow sensor with one of another vehicle but it does the same thing.
I tested the fuel pump and pressure is fine. The fuel filter was replaced with the last service which was 15000km ago.


Any suggestions.

Check your Aux Fuel Pump on the Passenger Side

Make sure your Fuel Pump Relay is working fine...


have you considered a Diag ?

Fuel pump coil pack or a relay

Check that your battery terminal I tight and test your bat

The fuel pump also has a filter on the inside check it clean it

Hi,

Sounds like a "leaking" fuel injectors. Had a similar issue on my 330i. Does it usually battle to start when the engine is warm? How is the cold start up?

If it is the injectors all you have to do is put tread tape on the studs and tighten properly with out damaging any of them

Starts up fine when its warm, having an issue on cold start ups.

Diagnostic was done
Camshaft sensor and airflow came up
camshaft sensor was replaced and took the airflow from a buddies car but still does the same thing.
