What do you guys think of installing a methenol kit on a e46 330i????

Guy at work mentioned it and i see its actually quite cost effective..

Not being technical in terms of the way it burns or ignites, I would be sceptical about long term damage to engine components with methanol. I somehow seem to remember hearing about burnt rings/pistons etc .... Could be wrong however.

WM can be used on N/A engines.

Wont see as much benefit as Turbo engines but does still reduce knock and detonation.

There are videos of WM on NA engines. Go check it out.
It does clean the combustion chamber like nothing else.
Power increase on a NA motor will be minimal if any. I'm running WM now for more then one year with no issues.

Take individj advice. A 3.38 diff makes worlds of a difference on pullaway, or even a 3.46, it's called a poormans supercharger. Had it on my 330.

Ok what do they usually go for??? And is it still fine for everyday use?

The diff is usually in the 2500 range, not sure about the 0 to 100 but if you check the ZHP version in the states it has a 3.07 diff compared to the 2.93 diff in SA. I used mine as a daily, the consumption increase was minimal but the fell of the car was very noticeable. Check your local scrapyard or give gizmo a pm. Oh and make sure you add oil. Niks ssh
