E46 330i chrome exhaust "covers"

Hi all, anyone know where i can get hold of a pair of the chrome exhaust "covers" from a 330i for my 325i? i find the plain steel end very boring... have asked around at a few places but no luck...

Also, will they just slide on?

Hi, you can most probably get them from a scrap yard or look in Junkmail for guys stripping cars and if all fails from the stealers but it is gonna cost you.

I have them on my 25 and does look better then just plain pipes.

Go find a 330i in a busy parking lot.. go with a friend... stop behind a 330i.. friend gets out passenger side pretending to look at back wheel.. while he is doing this, pull the tail pieces off

Also, forgot to say that yes you just slide the covers over the pipes. There are "slides" of metal that push up against the original pipes to make it tight and hold in place.

Well just got my dads car back from BMW with a new exhaust but the same old tail pieces & noticed how easy it is to remove

Strange, I thought the tips are welded on, mine are at least. So if anyone is planning to take mine you better bring a hammer and a screwdriver too, and maybe some extra firepower :bat:
