E46 330CI Update Tail pipes

I know the 330ci has quite a bit more power than the 325ti, but how different are they in terms of perforamnce, like the way they 'feel'

325ti is quite light and 330ci quite heavy so is the performance about the same?

just curious.

i got myself a set of narrows and wides i need to know what size tyres to fit on them

Howsit buddy, well the weight sure makes a difference, the ti was a 141kw 245nm n the ci is a 170kw 300nm. On a quartr mile i have a feeln that gear 1 n 2 the ti wil b in front but on the open road the ci sure has power to pull the wieght!

Luna, i had 225/40 R18s alround at 1st. After that i kept the front 225/40 n changd the rear to 245/40. I suggest u go for the same profile front but get 245/35 for the rear. Your ti looks quiet low thats the reason why i say smaller profile.

mine is pretty stock i got a set of elipsoids i cant wait to fit them on....

i was afraid that if i use 245/40/18 at the back it would put too much of strain on the wheel bearings but i think it should handle it

your ti looks wild .... i love the lights..

Nope here in jozi i didnt get into kak for the tinted headlights but in dbn im nt sure because cops are ful of kak there for moded cars

Yup it looks good..

Ride handles better but abit heavy compared to the 18s .. but now im going for style and not speed

8.5J front and 9.5J rear...
225/35/19 and 245/35/19

Had to go with those profiles otherwise it would have touched big time!!

i own a 318ti and drove a 325ti must say in city driving they feel quite similar and afterward i was impressed by the performance of my 318 coz i thought the 325 would blow me away but the 325 i drove was kinda tame but i didnt notice much difference appart from that lovely 6 barking everytime i slammed my foot on the accelerator and the obvious power available on the open road, my next car has to have a 6, been toying with the idea of getting a 325 ti or ci i love 2 door cars.

Kamz in your honest opinion as i can see from your signature you have had both, would getting a 325ti be a world of difference from my 318ti? or should i opt for the ci?

In my opinion dont know if people would agree, The 325ti has alot more performance difference from the 318 ti. Obviously because of the 141kw motor... The 325ti would perform better than the 325ci as weight plays a big role here...Plus only certain model ci's came with the 141kw motor the others were making abit less power 137kw motor...


The CI looks sexy but the Ti would the sport kit looks just as sexy...
I wrote my 325ti off, I would have definately kept that car if i didnt smash it...
