I have style 32's on my 530 and I love them . the wheel I really want is the rondel 058.. super hard to find in descent condition. I am thinking of getting m parallels in 18. I saw reps in market but I want oem's.

Centre cap will make a world of difference. It's not to my taste, personally. But with a wilder car colour, the plainer silver-er coloured wheels would work better. But that's a taste thing, the caps at present just straight do not work.

I had these same wheels in 17 on my e12 in silver with polished lips
they looked 100x better with bmw decals

Most of the time Im not a fan of the different coloured centres

how would the oem wheel look with that spacers thrown in the mix? The aftermarket wheel is not bad, I think the current colour doesnt complement that green

Would need wides at the front to have a good fitment in my opinion.
The oem wheels with the spacers would fit fine at the rear, but need like a 20mm+ spacer at the front, which I'm not keen on. That, and again the fact that they are 17's (just from a tire perspective).

For instance, the fronts now with these A-Line Scorpions are a 9" 25 offset (20 with the spacers, and they still aren't flush, but are just right to tuck under cornering and load etc)
Oem in 17 x 8" 20 offset.

If you can find them, 100% go for it.
I don't think its a case of thinking of getting them, if they come up, BUY THEM!
Unless you know of a set,
I haven't seen a set for sale in years.

Do it!

Depending what tyres they have, that is a fairly good price actually. Tyres are about 10k, refurb another 5-10k. That makes the wheels about 5-10k. I recently sold a set of these without tyres and needing a refurb for 11k

Yep sell those Alines to try and recoup some funds.

I've been doing some thinking on those Rondell 0058's, and though the have always been on my mind with every e39 or even e46 that I've owned, somehow they just aren't as appealing to me as they once were.
When I use to have style 42's, I would lust and dream of Rondells, now it's almost the other way around haha😅

Don't get me wrong, they are a fantastic looking wheel, very OEM++, and especially well suited to the e39, especially their fitment, 8.5j ET13 F, 10j ET19 R, but I can't seem to justify them.

Part of my thought process is I think I may just like the Style 65's more:unsure: and I have a set. Which makes me think it could be a very expensive exercise to buy and try the Rondells.
I'm also quite particular about tire sizes and what works/feels right to me, so fitting tyres to the Rondells would need 275 or 285's, which are pricey, I'm worried the 265's I have would be a bit stretched on the 10j, which I don't want. The front 245's would be fine, but would then need to purchase fronts, more cost to the exercise:rolleyes:

I guess I also tend to overthink things, but going with the Rondells seems like a money dump I'm not quite prepared to invest into at this point in time.

I think I'm going to stick with the A-Lines I have for a while, see how and if they grow on me. I will also be fitting center caps in the next couple days.
If I end up going another direction, it would likely be my Style 65's then.

Just an update FYI(y)

Looks much better on the E36 318is than my 540i.
Wheels were sold to a new owner yesterday.

215 40 18 tyres though.
